Super rounds jumped at Meadows schools' jumping
Show jumping classes run from 50cm up to 1.10m at Lurgan venue
The Meadows Equestrian Centre, Lurgan held their very popular Inter-schools’ show jumping league on Saturday, September 28. There were some super rounds of jumping, as the photos captured by Tori O’Connor and her team show!
The Primary classes started at 50cm, with Emily Toal on ‘Gandolf’, representing St Jarlath's Primary School, winning the individual class, while the Mini Mavericks team of Lottie Coombs, Lily Eastwood, Lily Rose and Caoimhin John O’Kane won the teams class.

Ella Johnston rode ‘Katie’ for Birches Primary School to win the 60cm Individual class, with Born to Ride winning the 65cm Primary Teams class. The 70cm Individual class was won by Molly Reid and ‘Little Me’ for Riverdale PS.
The Secondary classes commenced with the 75cm Individual class, which was won by Anna Poots on ‘Maggie’ for Dromore High School, with the 75cm Teams class going to Friends' School.
The Novice 85cm Individual class went to Jack Cowan riding ‘Buddy’ for Lurgan College, while Banbridge High School High Flyers won the Novice 85cm Teams class.
Tim Morton and ‘Silver’, representing Seagoe Primary School, rode a super round in the Open 1m Individual class to take the win, with no clear rounds being registered in the teams class at this height.

The Premier Open 1.10m Individual class was won by Peter Morton on ‘Pearl’ from Royal School Armagh.
