Terrific two-phase at Lisbane Farm
Courses incorporated fences on both all-weather and grass at Saintfield venue
Saturday, April 26 saw a Two-Phase event being held at Lisbane Farm, Saintfield, with courses incorporating fences on both all-weather and grass at heights of 60cm, 75cm, 90cm and 1m.
Classes kicked off with the metre class, which saw Oscar Williams and ‘Young Taipan’ take the win, despite a pole down show jumping. Isla Acheson and Marley jumped clear in both phases, but cross-country time penalties put her in second place.
Rachael Burns and ‘Sapphire’ were the clear winners of the 90cm class, as they were fault-free in their jumping, just incurring a minimal time penalty in the cross-country phase. Zahrah Zahoor Ali rode ‘Dave’ into second place here, followed by Conor Savage on ‘Skye’ in third.
The 75cm class was a close contest, as the top three all jumped clear in both phases, so it was down to the time-penalties incurred to separate them. Tom Boomer on ‘VSL Dakota’ were the closest to the time to take the win, with Kaitlyn Kearns on ‘Niklaus’ his nearest challenger in second, followed by Lucy Dickson on ‘Ballynahia Chill’ in third.

Lily Crawford rode a super round with ‘Biscuit’ to win the 60cm class.
The JumpCross at Lisbane Farm continues this Tuesday night, with the 60cm class starting at 5pm, followed by 75cm, 90cm and 1m.
