Treble triumph for Laura at Portmore
Laura Brown-McCann remarkably won the 1.10m, 1.20m and 1.30m classes on her two mounts
Portmore welcomed SJI competitors to the registered Horse Show at their Aghalee premises last Sunday, which saw classes offered from 80cm up to 1.30m.
Those who jumped clear in the 80cm, 90cm and 1m classes shared the wins, while the remaining classes were dominated by Laura Brown-McCann, who remarkably, won the 1.10m, 1.20m and 1.30m classes on her two mounts.
Laura steered Seamus Duffy’s ‘Lets Not Talk’ into first place in both the 1.10m and 1.20m classes, with Katie McDonald riding Martin Mellett’s ‘Rock Hill Girl,’ into the runner-up spot in the 1.10m class, followed by Conor Savage on his own ‘Lough Island Cappuccino’ in third.
