Working Hunter underway at Knockagh View

Competitors put in some preparation in advance of NI Festival

The first week of the Pre-Festival Working Hunter league was held at Knockagh View, Greenisland on Sunday, March 10. Organisers would like to thank everyone who supported the show. It was a very wet, soggy day, but Scott kept the stove burning well to warm everyone up in the cafe.

Hello and welcome to Horse&Field. Our aim is to support local, grass roots equestrian enthusiasts and competitors and keep you all informed of what’s happening in the horsey world, as well as covering all things agricultural. If you haven’t already subscribed you can do so below:

‘Ardnehue April Joker’ and Phoebe Beaumont claimed the Champion Working Hunter Pony title at Knockagh View.

Organisers hope to see everyone back at the next week of league on Sunday, March 24, followed by final and Pre-season Ridden Show on Sunday, March 31. Entries and schedules are on the App and website. The workshop is still busy preparing more fantastic jumps to make sure everyone is well prepared for NIF and Balmoral Show.
