We are excited to bring you the latest local results, as well as diary dates and previews of forthcoming shows. You will receive this newsletter twice each week, as well as occasional emails in between - we want to keep you informed, but do not want to overload your inbox!

All roads lead to Antrim this Saturday
Randox Antrim Show will take place in the beautiful grounds of the majestic Shanes Castle Estate, Antrim, on Saturday 22 July 2023.
Annually organised by Antrim Agricultural Society, 2023 will see the 115th show take place.
The event offers a fun packed family day out as you take a stroll through rural life.
For animal lovers, there’s everything from sheep shearing competitions, a petting zoo and the children’s pet show to horse jumping and displays of some of Northern Ireland’s finest cattle and sheep.

In the news
Tullymurry hosted a super Eventing Ireland Northern Region on Saturday, with four creative cross-country courses to suit various levels of competitor from 80cm up to 1.10m.
The 181st annual agricultural and horse show, hosted by Tyrone Farming Society, unfolded on Friday, June 30 and Saturday, July 1, in much improved weather conditions from that experienced last year.
Show jumping at The Meadows on Saturday catered for SJI Horses, with SJI National Summer Series classes being held and beautiful rugs and rosettes on offer. Meanwhile, Cash Back Unregistered classes continued to be popular in Arena 2.
Lusk’s commenced a four-week show jumping league on Sunday, which showcased some great competition across all six classes! Roll on week two!
A Two- and Three-Phase event attracted a good turnout to Gransha last Thursday, July 13, which saw some impressive riding over innovative courses.
The next local agricultural show to take place will be Antrim Show, which is being held this Saturday.
If you would like to take part in an equestrian relay race on Donaghadee Beach, get your team together and place your entry!
The weather may have disrupted the ridden cross-country at the Area 17 Tetrathlon, but the other phases including the cross-country run went ahead - well done to all those Pony Club members who took part!
