Hello there,
Well, after a very busy few days, I have eventually waded through the results from Dublin Horse Show and managed to gather some photos to highlight the numerous winners and success stories from this neck of the woods!
It is so amazing to see all those gleaming horses and smiling faces when they are called forward to receive an RDS ribbon or, better yet, a sash! Congratulations to all the prize winners and their hardworking support teams, but also to all the other competitors, who went to the effort and significant expense of taking their equines to Dublin - without all of you, there wouldn’t be a show for all of us to enjoy!
This Horse&Field newsletter sees the first instalments of results and photos, from the showing and Working Hunter classes at the RDS.
The Horse&Field calendar is getting back to normality after the Dublin break, so there are various competitions and activities to choose from this weekend, including eventing, registered show jumping, unregistered show jumping, dressage and a Two-phase to suit all abilities at Ash Hollow!
We are trying to make this calendar as comprehensive as possible, so if you know of any events that aren’t yet listed, please let us know!
To new subscribers, welcome! You will receive this newsletter twice each week, as well as occasional emails in between - we want to keep you informed, but do not want to overload your inbox!
Please remember that Horse&Field will be updated on a regular basis and you can visit it at any time to find out what is happening. If you wish, you can download the Substack app; you can search online for: horseandfield.substack.com or, if you are subscribed, just click on the email.
If you have any contributions, queries or suggestions, please do send an email to horseandfield@gmail.com
Thanks for reading… until the next instalment!
