Hello everyone,
Welcome to another Horse&Field newsletter, bringing you the latest instalment of results and pictures from local equestrian competitions, as well as information on forthcoming events. It was another busy weekend, so there is lots to share with you!

I had the great pleasure of attending the North Down hack at Rosemount Estate in Greyabbey (Co. Down) on Sunday and what a lovely afternoon it was… There was a warm welcome, a really enjoyable and well organised hack in beautiful surroundings, good company and a fabulous lunch! The organisers had even arranged for blue sky and sunshine - I am suitably impressed and will look forward to the next one.
Over the past week, Connell Hill has held both an SJI Horse Show and a Training Show; while Knockagh View has hosted their Mid-Week Show jumping and Arena Eventing. Hagans Croft held a Horse and Pony Working Hunter competition on Saturday, while Ardnacashel continued with their Dressage series on Sunday.
The previous weekend, the second running of the Equine Awards NI saw plenty of style and celebrations, as winners received their awards. Northern Ireland Riding Clubs held their Dressage Championships - well done to all those from around the clubs who participated.
The Horse&Field calendar lists local equine activities and is updated on a daily basis. We are trying to make the calendar as comprehensive as possible, so if you know of any events that aren’t yet listed, please let us know!
