Hello and welcome to the 27th Straight from the Horse's Mouth podcast on Horse and Field!
In my endeavours to shine a light on local people in the horsey world, my latest conversation was with Cheridan Scott.
Cheridan is from a horsey background and was an active member of Iveagh Pony Club, including being a member of one of the branch’s winning show jumping teams at the Pony Club Championships.
While she enjoys the academic side of life and studied to become a Primary School teacher, a job she continues to enjoy, Cheridan also followed her equestrian passion and she set up Stride Equestrian, a business through which she bred and produced young horses.
Cheridan is currently off on maternity leave from teaching, after having her daughter, Ramsey.
Cheridan felt there was a gap in the market for good quality, comfortable equestian clothing, so about three years ago with the help of her husband Jordan, she started a clothing range, initially using the Stride Equestrian brand name. Following numerous conversations with people, she has expanded this into general sports clothing and now goes by the brand name S E Clothing.
The product range currently includes leggings, hoodies, beanie hats and more… Cheridan plans to increase the range to include fleeces and gilets in the near future.
It was refreshing to chat to someone who clearly works hard and, not only has good ideas, but also the determination to bring them to fruition.
If you would like to find out more or have a look at the S E Clothing range, go to www.seclothing.co.uk
I hope you enjoy our chat!
Stay tuned for the next Straight From the Horse’s Mouth podcast on Horse & Field.
