Here is the second instalment of reports, results and amazing photos from equine activities over the past week or so…
From showing and Working Hunter to dressage and inter-schools’ jumping, our local venues really try to cater for all tastes and levels.
There is certainly a change in temperature over the past week and, with coats changing, it looks like clipping time is looming… This time of year also sees the start of the hunt hack season, with the Newrys and the East Downs out today, while Antrim Chase had their first outing of the season at Ballyboley Inn yesterday.

Six Mile Water host Equine First Aid evening
Six Mile Water Riding Club are hosting an Equine First Aid evening on Wednesday, October 9 at Laurel View Equestrian Centre, Templepatrick, starting at 7pm.

Super rounds jumped at Meadows schools' jumping
The Meadows Equestrian Centre, Lurgan held their very popular Inter-schools’ show jumping league on Saturday, September 28. There were some super rounds of jumping, as the photos captured by Tori O’Connor and her team show!
