Back to business as usual, despite Storm Betty
Local competitions provide plenty of choice for riders
Hi folks,
Well, it was back to business as usual at the weekend, with local competitions in action again after the Dublin break, despite the weather (in the form of Storm Betty) doing its best to put a spanner in the works!
Venues with all-weather surfaces were much appreciated by many, with the horrendous rain having taken its toll on ground conditions, leading to the cancellation or postponement of grass-based events. The Two-phase that was due to run at Ash Hollow (Co. Tyrone) had to be postponed, while the event at Loughanmore (Co. Antrim) was unfortunately cancelled - however, the wondrous team at Tullymurry (Co. Down) were able to step in and provide a replacement fixture, much to the delight of Northern Region eventers!
