Hello everyone,
Well, after the weather-enforced reduction in activities a week ago, things were back to full tilt at the weekend… So much so, that a second instalment will be required this week, in order to accommodate everything!
It is wonderful to see so much going on locally across the disciplines, giving competitors such amazing choice about where to go and what to do. Some venues are in the process of concluding leagues before Christmas, while others are looking forward to hosting Christmas Shows over the coming weeks.

Looking ahead to the Christmas holidays, don’t forget that Down Royal Racecourse will host racing on Boxing Day, if you fancy a day out:

For those eager to keep the festive spirit alive and send off 2024 with a bang, now’s the time to secure your tickets for the final racing event of the year at Down Royal Racecourse.

Back up the centre line at Hagans Croft
After a week of cancelled events due to weather conditions, Hagans Croft Equestrian's dressage league got back up and running on Saturday, November 30. Competitors were under the watchful eye of judge Corey Mawhinney, as they entered a range of British Dressage Intro to Medium dressage tests.
Dressage day draws diva spirit to Knockagh View
Knockagh View Equestrian Centre, Greenisland extends a big thank you to everyone who supported their Diva Dressage Day - it was lovely to see so many get into the diva spirit!
Double act for Katie at Connell Hill
On Saturday, November 30, Connell Hill Equestrian, Randalstown, set the course for the next leg of their indoor show jumping league, incorporating classes for the Pony Club Barrier Animal Health Spring Festival qualifiers, carefully co-ordinated by mother and daughter team, Rachelle Mark and Jamie-Lee.
Ecclesville Super League 2024 draws to a close
Week four of Ecclesville’s Show jumping League allowed competitors their last chance to qualify for the prizes at the Final on Friday, December 6. With some speedy combinations on top form, the organisers are anticipating a great evening of show jumping, especially in the hotly contested 60cm and 70cm classes!
Nice moves at Laurel View’s November dressage
The second leg of the Laurel View Winter Dressage League on Sunday, November 10, saw strong competition and a selection of new names taking home the ribbons.
Review of Hallowe’en hijinks at Laurel View
It’s very scary how quickly time has slipped by since the Laurel View Hallowe’en Show, but as Santa has been sighted already, these results are overdue.
