I was delighted to have the opportunity to have a chat with Penny Sangster, a former British international eventer, who is now an accomplished coach and has made Northern Ireland her home.
Penny has quickly made a name for herself here for her ability to encourage riders of all levels and build their confidence. She works with Pony Clubs, Riding Clubs and individuals around the country to help them reach their goals, whether those be to make it round a course of fences clear or to compete at an international event.
Having started her equestrian career in dressage, she has recently been judging the dressage phase at Northern Region events, whilst also running clinics in both cross-country and show jumping.
