Water, water everywhere... Heavy rain impacting on equines around the country
Some activities may be curtailed due to flooding or road closures
Hi folks,
The rain has been causing some serious issues this week, with fields flooded, roads flooded and even equestrian centres flooded! Access has been an issue for some people with equines, whether trying to get to horses and ponies in fields or trying to go out with a horsebox on and coming upon road closures due to flooding… As I found out myself, doing a u-turn with a horsebox on isn’t that easy!

My thoughts go out to all those who have been in difficulties this week due to this extreme run of wet weather - we can only hope that it dries up significantly in the days ahead and that normality can resume.
