Weekend update: Balmoral qualifiers galore
Local equestrian reports, results and photos, as well as news
Hi folks,
Once again, our local equine activities have been so busy that a second instalment is required! Here is an update with links to coverage of some more of the competitions held over the last weekend in March.
With the show just over a month away, Balmoral qualifiers are in full flight and some talented combinations have secured their places to compete at Balmoral Park, in the show jumping and the performance horse classes, as well as the schools’ team championship. Best of luck to them all!

Star performances at Gransha RUAS qualifiers
Saturday, March 29 saw Gransha Equestrian Centre, Bangor hosting Irish Draught and Star of the Future Performance Qualifiers.
Nail-biting competition at Coleraine Balmoral Schools' qualifier
There was a great turnout for the Schools’ Show Jumping Competition held on Saturday, March 29 at the RDA Causeway and Glens Arena, Coleraine. Under the auspices of the Route Hunt Pony Club, this included a qualifier for the Bluegrass Schools’ Show Jumping Championships to be held at Balmoral on Saturday, May 18.
Hot competition at Meadows' Balmoral qualifiers
The Meadows Equestrian Centre was a hive of activity on Saturday, March 29, as the Lurgan venue held RUAS Balmoral Qualifiers alongside their regular Horse Show.
