Excellent equestrian events locally
Reports, results, images and diary dates from our amazing equine venues and organisations
Hi everyone,
The busy schedule of equine events is certainly continuing - the calendar is packed and the only dilemma is which venue to choose!
Last weekend saw a great variety of competitions, with lots of show jumping, as well as Arena Eventing, Jump Mix and even a Two- and Three-phase event! This coming weekend looks even busier… Just take a look at the Horse&Field calendar!
Don’t forget, Lyndon McKee and Connell Hill Equestrian Centre are running a Charity Show, in aid of Air Ambulance NI this Saturday, September 28. Horse & Field is very pleased to be sponsoring this show in aid of Air Ambulance NI:
Meanwhile, Danescroft are set to host two amazing days of competition at their Autumn Festival this Saturday and Sunday!
This Horse&Field newsletter brings you the latest equine news, as well as reports, results and pictures from local competitions over the past week or so, including the report and lots of lovely pictures from the RDA Charity Ride at Shane’s Castle; coverage of the second week of the Shloer show jumping league at Danescroft; results and images from the Garden Event at Lusk’s; coverage of the Two- and Three-phase Event at Ardnacashel; Training Show results and photos from Connell Hill; Jump Mix results and pics from Hagans Croft; coverage of week three of the league at Ecclesville; and SJI horse show latest from Connell Hill.
A lot of hours went into working through the show jumping results from Dublin Horse Show, to identify the huge number of local competitors who did incredibly well and request their photos, to go alongside the results… The images arrived and they were worth waiting for - just have a look:
