With so many shows taking place and so many results winging their way through, here is a second jam-packed newsletter to keep you up to date with the local horsey world!

Many people will be looking forward to the Paris Olympics and all the competitive buzz that will offer, but before then (July 22-28), the European Pony Championships are taking place at Sentower Park in Belgium and 14-year-old Fermanagh girl, Lily Tunney has been selected for the team! Northern Showdown: a super day out at Ardnacashel
What a lovely, sunny day it was, for the mostpart, for the annual Northern Showdown Show at Ardnacashel Equestrian, Comber - there were a few random spells of gusty wind and rain showers, which took their toll on some of the results sheets!
Sunshine, showers and great show jumping at Connell Hill Training Show
The Training Show at Connell Hill, Randalstown on Saturday saw a great start to the morning from Templepatrick rider Lizzy Taylor, who rode her pony ‘Chester’ up into first place in the opening three classes of the day. There was another lovely performance by Noel McKee, who partnered his four-year-old mount ‘Charlie’ to a clear in the 60cm class.
Show jumping continues at Strule Valley Riding Club
Strule Valley Riding Club held the second night of their Annual Summer Show jumping League on Wednesday night, July 10. The Club would like to thank those who came along to compete. The league continues on Wednesday, July 17, with the final planned for Wednesday, July 24. Jumping commences at 7pm each night with 60cm, followed by 70cm, 80cm, 90cm and 1 m…
Stiff competition as Knockagh View Mid-week league concludes
All at Knockagh View Equestrian Centre, Greenisland extend a huge thank you to everyone who supported their Mid-week League. It was lovely to be back outdoors for the Mid-week Show Jumping, although the summer weather definitely didn't make an appearance for the final!
Mid Antrim double for Fiona and 'O'Harabrook'
Mid Antrim Horse Show on Saturday, June 29 played host to the second leg of the Fraser Homes Ulster Grand Prix series at Connell Hill Equestrian Centre, Randalstown.
