Equine competitors shine bright in the sunshine
Bringing you local equestrian news, reports, results and photos
Hi folks,
The weeks really are whizzing by - it’s hard to believe we’re heading for the end of March! We have had some lovely dry and bright weather this week (as you will see from the wonderful sunny photos accompanying each of the reports!), which always makes life a bit easier when tending to animals… Long may it continue, so that the ground can dry out and grass turnout can become a reality for those of us currently without it!
The eventing season proper kicks off this weekend - best of luck to all those taking part; I hope you have a wonderful day! The Northern Region event dates are in the Horse&Field calendar so if any of you haven’t experienced the excitement of an event, it makes a great day out as a spectator - or, even better, as a volunteer! There are also lots of other equestrian activities listed, so do have a look to find more dates for your horsey diary - it’s a useful tool to see if any dates are clashing.
